"In the world of autism complexity, I choose to focus on it’s simplicity…
There's a lot of beauty in that.”
— Scott Austalosh
Why we do, what we do.
Founded by our Executive Director, Scott Austalosh, Voices 4 Autism is a powerful movement, inspired by the light and love of his beautiful daughter, Sophia. Through a variety of heartwarming stories told by influential people, the foundation hopes to bring awareness to autism and help to showcase it's beauty. Voices 4 Autism is fairly young, launching in August 2021, but the strides we’re making, and the amazing people involved are from years of forming relationships with them, gathering film footage, and following the dream that has been in creative design for years.
Sophia is the face of Voices 4 Autism. She illuminates the real meaning of life, putting into perspective what is truly important and meaningful. Her superpower is love...her strength is the ability to love unconditionally. She uses that love to show everyone how inclusion really feels.
“Her superpower is love...her strength is the ability to love unconditionally”
Voices 4 Autism is changing the landscape of autism inclusion and what that looks like. Together, we can make a difference in how autism is received in our society by creating human connections and dispelling common misconceptions. Several public figures who are familiar with autism in some way, have contributed by "lending their voices" to this project and represent a brilliant change to the way autism is perceived.
Donations received through this foundation will help fund the projects envisioned, to make this mission a success. In addition to our short-film projects, we are currently working to bring sensory calming rooms to places like festivals, theme parks, and schools, to name just a few. These rooms provide an environment suited to help ease the effects of over-stimulation that frequently make these types of events and destinations overwhelming and stressful for people with autism.
Please see our Calming Room page for more on these technologically advanced and innovative spaces.
It's pretty amazing when you " Lend your voice to autism".
